Diamond clarity is like its biography. It reveals the story of a diamond's journey deep within the Earth. Clarity grading assesses internal flaws (inclusions) and surface imperfections (blemishes). The scale ranges from Flawless (no imperfections) to Included (visible flaws). Remember, most imperfections are microscopic and won't affect the diamond's sparkle. Choosing a clarity grade depends on how flawless you want your diamond to be, keeping in mind that higher grades can command higher prices. So, whether you're okay with a few quirks or seeking perfection, clarity helps you find your diamond's unique tale.

Flawless

Characterised by no blemishes or inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds graded as Flawless are scarce as inclusions are naturally occurring.

IF

Internally Flawless

As the name suggests, these diamonds have no internal inclusions but may have some visible outer inclusions under 10x magnification.

VVS1/VVS2

Very Very Slight Inclusion

These diamonds have only slight inclusions that are difficult for a skilled grader to see under 10x magnification.

VS1/VS2

Very Slight Inclusion

Very Slight Inclusion diamonds have minor inclusions seen with effort under 10x magnification.

SI1/SI2

Slight Inclusion

Noticeable inclusions are seen under a 10x magnification.

I1-I3

Inclusions

Inclusions within the diamond are noticeable under 10x magnification. The inclusions affect the diamond's brilliance and transparency.
